Customer Stories
Real requirements. Practical solutions.
Every buyer has different challenges when sourcing EV charging products. We help customers understand requirements, identify suitable product directions and coordinate the sourcing process with suitable manufacturing partners.
Story 01
From a DLB requirement to a clearer AC charging direction

The starting point
The customer was building an AC charging offer and was considering both 7 kW and 22 kW products. Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) was an important functional requirement.
What made it difficult
A charger could look right on paper while the feature details, wiring context or supplier communication still left important questions unanswered. The real task was to make the requirement clear enough to compare relevant options.
How Chonor helped
Chonor helped turn the initial request into a more focused discussion: power range, intended application and DLB expectations. With first-hand EV charging experience, we then coordinated technical conversations with several manufacturing partners.
The next step
The customer had a clearer basis for reviewing AC charger options and continued the conversation with Chonor as further EV charging requirements developed.
Story 02
Finding room to stand out in a familiar product category

The starting point
The customer combined EV charger sales, installation and after-sales support. In a market where many products looked similar, the goal was to find an offer with a more distinctive angle.
What made it difficult
The answer was not simply choosing the next catalogue item. A differentiated design still needed to be practical for the customer’s product offer, and later questions went beyond the usual AC charger range.
How Chonor helped
Chonor first helped explore a wall-mounted charger with a less common appearance. When the customer later asked about a compact 7 kW DC solution, we supported a separate sourcing search and product discussion.
The next step
Instead of one generic product direction, the customer had several more specific options to explore — giving the cooperation a practical starting point for the next requirement.
